St. Philip’s is a warm, busy and friendly church, with a regular congregation of all ages. We are here to serve the people of the Highbury estate and are delighted to welcome visitors from all over the country and beyond.

Whether you're joining us at one of our regular services; to celebrate a baptism or wedding; to come in remembrance for a funeral or simply to sit quietly and soak in the atmosphere of prayer and stillness.

St. Philip’s, Cosham is part of the Portsmouth Deanery

in the Anglican Diocese of Portsmouth.

We are held in plurality with St. Peter & St. Paul, Wymering.

Both parishes share a vicar & pioneer minister.

We are blessed with a church building which is an architectural gem; the last one designed by the renowned architect Sir Ninian Comper and his son Sebastion. The intention was to create a sacred space where we can truly sense the presence of God.

There are a number of social events throughout the year, which are open to all, and the hall is in frequent use to community groups and private hirers.
